Our draft principles below
Planting
- No artificial chemicals
- Mix of enduring / scented / uplifting plants
- Welcome donations from local gardens / homes
Sourcing & Funding
- Funds to only be used to buy plants locally , including from OTBPG group members ( e.g. WHN) wherever possible.
- Match fund donations of plants from above where possible

Cap maximum donations for 1st initiative at £50 to ensure all
contributions count. Commit excess to future fund for maintenance / next
initiative
Ethos
- Share future stages between all of us - residents , businesses & council
- Donate "seed funds / plants " back into Old Town where possible to enhance local environment
- Publicly thank all contributors and seek to support Old Town businesses .
